These pieces were made on small cigarette papers (about 3 x 3 inches) with water soluble ink and watercolor.

This tryptic of self portraits was loads of fun to make--there is something magical about working at a small scale that makes work feel very intimate.

Upon completion, these pieces were rolled up and distributed in cigarette boxes by the Useless Art Society, along with the work of many other artists. I guess that makes them collector's items!
