I designed these characters in collaboration with a children's book author for an ongoing project.

The characters include: the protagonist (a young Latina girl living in Chicago), her family (mom, dad & abuela), and a monster policeman that takes the main character's dad away to jail.

Included here are sketches for all of the characters, all of the proposed designs for the monster, and a sample spread showing what the main character may look like in context.
